Viburnum tinus is an evergreen shrub that is easy to grow and adds interest to the garden all year round. It is a native of the Mediterranean. Growing Viburnum tinus will add colour to the garden all year long. They flower from late winter to spring and have attractive evergreen leaves all year round. Viburnum typically blooms with fragrant flowers from mid-winter to early spring. Because of its low maintenance, the plant grows well in most light conditions and is a medium drought tolerant plant. It is also a nice plant to attract butterflies to your garden.
Care The Viburnum Tinus does not really need pruning as it has a compact growth habit. To keep the plant in shape you can shorten the long shoots in spring and/or summer. Since the Viburnum is originally a Mediterranean plant, it prefers a more sunny location. However, the Viburnum will also grow if placed in the shade, but the shrub will produce fewer flowers.
Size The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 17cm.
