The flowers look especially good in a group and, at 90-100 cm tall, are a striking sight. You can enjoy the beautiful colours in your summer garden from July to September. The tubers can be planted in March-May.
Care Tritoma 'Alcazar' does well in nutritious soil, in a sunny spot in humus-rich soil. It is advisable to leave fireflies for a long time. They do not like being divided very much. It will then take several years before they flower again. After flowering, cut off the stems with spent flowers but leave the leaves on the plant. Cover the plant with a mulch layer in Autumn.
