The Phoenix Roebelenii, also known as the dwarf date palm, originally comes from South-East Asia, but can now be found in living rooms and gardens all over the world. The palm instantly gives your living room an exotic look that makes you feel like you’re on a tropical holiday all year round. Not only is the dwarf date palm very beautiful, it is also air-purifying. In the spring and summer months the plant can also be placed outside. In warmer climates, the palm can be placed outside all year round. The plant is delivered with a height of 80-90 cm (measured including pot).
Care The Phoenix Roebelenii likes a lot of water. So make sure that the plant is always moist, especially in summer so check the soil regularly. The palm prefers a spot in full sun, for example 1-2 meters from a south-facing window or directly in front of an east or west-facing window. The plant will get some brown leaves on the underside, but this is nothing to worry about. This is a natural process where the plant will make new leaves at the top and shed the lower ones. You can simply cut off the lower brown leaves.
Size The plant has a height of 80-90cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 21cm.
