The Miscanthus ‘Zebrinus’ is a decorative grass variety with long, narrow, upwards growing leaves. This grass distinguishes itself from other Miscanthus species due to its light coloured and horizontal stripes on the leaves. Therefore, another name for the Miscanthus ‘Zebrinus’ is Zebra grass. The grass flowers bronzed plumes from September till October, which is amazing to see during the winter in your garden.
Care Miscanthus 'Zebrinus can be planted in any good garden soil. Furthermore, care is not very difficult, the grass prefers a sunny spot and well-drained soil. It is recommended to prune the grass in March so that it grows back nicely. The flowering time of the grass is from September to October. Eventually the Miscanthus 'Zebrinus' can grow up to 200cm tall! Furthermore, the Prachtriet is non-toxic to animals.
Size The plants have a height of 20-30cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 23cm.
