Summer colours, sweet scents and, if you're lucky, a modest fruit harvest: that's what makes citrus trees fun in the first place! But these Mediterranean fruit trees also stay green in the summer, so you can enjoy them all year round. The package contains 3 young trees that can be grown into large fruit-bearing trees. The trees can be kept as houseplants, garden plants or patio plants and provide a touch of holiday feeling! The Citrus Mix consists of: 1 x Lemon tree (Citrus Limon) / 1 x Orange tree (Citrus Calamondino) / 1 x Lime tree (Citrus auratifolio 'limon').
Care
Citrus trees prefer a light, sunny location, moderate water and some fertilizer regularly. With their preference for slightly acidic soil, it is best to mix potting soil with some garden turf. As for location, put the plants outside in full sun from mid-March to October, but allow them to get used to the sun for the first few weeks to prevent the leaves from burning. In October, it is best to bring the trees indoors for overwintering. After about two years, the first fruits will appear on the Citrus trees. Keep in mind that the trees must be protected during frost because they are not hardy. It is best to bring them inside or wrap them in foil against the cold.
Size
The plants have a height of 25-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 9cm.
